PHILADELPHIA, PA – A man was hospitalized Sunday morning after being shot several times along the highway near the 1400 block of Adams Avenue in the city’s 15th District, according to police.
The shooting was reported around 9:36 a.m. When officers arrived, they found an adult male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his right leg. Medics transported the victim to Temple University Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.
Authorities secured the area for evidence collection and began canvassing the scene for witnesses and surveillance footage. No firearm was recovered, and investigators have not yet identified a motive or any suspects.
The case remains under active investigation by the Shooting Investigation Group.
