BROOKLYN, NY – At this point, police in New York City are treating the snatching of a young Jewish boy’s Yarmulke as a grand larceny investigation and not a hate crime. Police said back in March, a suspect snatched the religious head garment from the Orthodox Jewish boy’s head, and he has yet to be identified. Police are still investigating this matter. This week, police released a photo of the suspect.
