Man sought after lewd act on B68 bus in Brooklyn, police say

BROOKLYN, N.Y. — Police are searching for a man accused of committing a lewd act in front of an 18-year-old woman aboard a city bus in Brooklyn on Sunday afternoon.

The incident occurred around 2:35 p.m. on a B68 bus near Coney Island Avenue and Crawford Avenue, according to the NYPD. Authorities said the unidentified man sat near the victim and began performing a lewd act in her presence.

The man exited the bus at Coney Island Avenue and Avenue Y, fleeing westbound on Avenue Y. No physical contact or injuries were reported, police said.

The suspect is described as a male with a medium complexion. He was last seen wearing a blue hat, black sunglasses, a blue t-shirt, blue shorts, and black and white sneakers.

The NYPD is investigating and reviewing any available surveillance footage from the bus and surrounding area.

No arrests have been made.
