Man sought in public lewdness incident on E train near Kew Gardens with young girl

QUEENS, N.Y. — Police are searching for a man who allegedly exposed himself to a 13-year-old girl aboard a southbound E train approaching the Kew Gardens-Union Turnpike station, the NYPD said.

The incident occurred around 1:00 p.m. on Monday, June 30, according to investigators from the 112th Precinct and Transit District 20. The victim told police she observed the unidentified male exposing himself while seated on the train.

The suspect exited the train at the Kew Gardens-Union Turnpike station and fled the area on foot. No injuries were reported.

The suspect is described as a male with a dark complexion, approximately 50 years old, last seen wearing a white t-shirt, black shorts, and a black and red hat.

The NYPD has released images of the suspect and is asking for the public’s help in identifying him.
