Man wanted after alleged robbery inside Brooklyn home leaves victim injured
Brooklyn, NY — Police are searching for a suspect accused of punching and robbing a man inside his own residence following a dispute in Brooklyn.
The incident occurred around 7:00 p.m. March 22 near 8th Avenue and 53rd Street within the 72nd Precinct, according to the NYPD.
Investigators said a 65-year-old man was inside his home when he became involved in a verbal dispute with a male individual known to him. During the encounter, the suspect allegedly demanded money and struck the victim in the face.
The victim sustained minor injuries.
Authorities have not announced any arrests and are asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating the suspect.
