A 32-Year-Old Man Found Dead in Northeast, Homicide Investigation Underway

A homicide investigation is in progress after the discovery of an unconscious man in Northeast Washington on Wednesday afternoon. The incident occurred around 3:15 p.m. on August 28 in the 3200 block of 9th Street, Northeast.

Responding officers found an adult male at the scene, who was pronounced dead on-site. The body was subsequently transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner. An autopsy later revealed that the cause of death was a gunshot wound, and the case has been officially classified as a homicide.

The victim has been identified as Ronald Williams, 32, of Northeast, D.C. Authorities have not released any information about potential suspects.
