MANAHAWKIN, NJ – Move over McDonald’s and Burger King, Manahawkin is officially in the chicken business starting today. Doors opened at 6:30 am this morning. The iconic national brand should feel at home in Manahawkin as the new owners embark on their American dream

The Manahawkin store is owned and operated by Matt Baals and his wife Brenda.

“We are so excited [for] our grand opening,” the newest Chick-fil-A operators said this week. “Our dining room will be open! We saved this spot for you, our team can’t wait to serve you. We are beyond excited to open and serve Manahawkin!”

The restaurant is located at 434 Route 72 West.

“They are so excited to be a part of the Manahawkin community and truly believe in developing others,” the company said in a statement. “They want to be a bright light in the community and seek to care, inspire, and positively impact everyone that they come in.”
