Maryland couple identified as victims in fatal five-vehicle crash in Lewes

LEWES, DE – Delaware State Police have identified 62-year-old Charlene Broccolo and 64-year-old Albert Broccolo, both of Bel Air, Maryland, as the two victims killed in a multi-vehicle crash Friday in Lewes.

The fatal collision involved five vehicles and remains under investigation by the Delaware State Police Troop 7 Collision Reconstruction Unit. Authorities have not yet released additional details on the cause of the crash or whether any others were injured.

The Broccolos were pronounced dead at the scene. No other identities have been released in connection with the incident.
