Maryland High School Teacher Charged with Abuse of Student

RANDALLSTOWN, MD – On Friday, Carlos Arroyo, a 38-year-old teacher at Randallstown High School, was arrested by detectives from the Baltimore County Crimes Against Children Unit. Arroyo faces two felony charges, including abuse of a minor and a third-degree offense, along with two misdemeanors.

The investigation was prompted by allegations of sexual assault reported at the end of April. Following weeks of interviews and evidence collection, authorities took Arroyo into custody.
