October 16, 2024

Brooklyn Park, MD – Two Maryland Lottery players secured significant prizes in the Mega Millions drawing held on Sunday. A $1 million prize was claimed in Brooklyn Park, while a $10,000 third-tier ticket was sold in Silver Spring.

In the recent drawing, the winning numbers were 22, 34, 44, 54, 62, with a Mega Ball of 03. The Brooklyn Park player, purchasing their ticket from Check Cash Depot on 16th Avenue, matched the first five numbers, securing a second-tier win. Meanwhile, the Silver Spring ticket, bought at Briggs Chaney Deli on Outlet Drive, won $10,000 by matching four of the five numbers plus the Mega Ball.

Winners have 182 days from the drawing date to collect their prizes. Maryland Lottery officials advise winners to sign the back of their tickets immediately and secure them until claiming arrangements are made.

Winners exceeding $25,000 must visit the Maryland Lottery Customer Resource Center in Baltimore to claim their prizes by appointment. Prizes up to $25,000 are claimable at any of Maryland’s six casinos.
