Maryland Lottery travel to New Jersey for NFL trip as Ravens Defeat Giants

NEW YORK, NY — Three lucky Maryland Lottery second-chance winners and their guests joined the Baltimore Ravens for an unforgettable VIP trip to New York, capped off by watching quarterback Lamar Jackson achieve another historic NFL milestone.

The winners—Raymond and Debbie Jones, Lenny and Darlene Brown, and Juan Garcia and his daughter Melanie—traveled alongside Ravens players, coaches, and media aboard a chartered train to New Jersey. The trip included sideline passes at MetLife Stadium, lower-level seats for the Dec. 15 game against the New York Giants, and a meet-and-greet with Ravens players during the journey.

“We got here at 10 a.m.,” said Raymond Jones, who with his wife arrived hours early at Baltimore’s M&T Bank Stadium for the group’s Saturday departure. “We didn’t want to chance being late!” The Browns, also lottery winners, quickly bonded with the Joneses, and the camaraderie among the group continued throughout the trip.

At the game, winners watched from premium seats as Lamar Jackson threw five touchdown passes without an interception—marking the sixth such game of his career. Jackson’s record-breaking performance placed him among elite company, as only Tom Brady and Drew Brees have achieved more games with similar stats.

The experience, which included a stay at a luxury hotel in New York City and $1,000 in spending money for each winner, left a lasting impression. “I will never forget this trip,” said Juan Garcia.

The Maryland Lottery’s Ravens second-chance promotion concludes with a final drawing on Dec. 23, offering two more finalists a shot at winning Ravens season tickets for 20 years.
