$1.7M jackpot ticket sold at Maryland tavern creates first Multi Match winner of 2026
CALLAWAY, MD — A Maryland Lottery player is waking up a millionaire after a $1.7 million Multi-Match jackpot ticket was sold in St. Mary’s County.
The winning ticket for the March 19 drawing was purchased at Abell’s Tavern on Piney Point Road in Callaway, lottery officials said.
The winning numbers were 3, 14, 15, 19, 27 and 38.
The jackpot marks the first Multi-Match top prize win of 2026.
The winner has the option of taking the full $1.7 million annuity paid over 25 years or a lump sum estimated at $950,000 before taxes.
The retailer will receive a $1,000 bonus for selling the ticket.
Lottery officials said the winner has 182 days to claim the prize.
