The winning ticket was sold March 28 at Marlow Wings, located at 4147 Branch Avenue in Temple Hills, according to lottery officials. The retailer will receive a $1,000 bonus for selling the jackpot-winning ticket.

The winner claimed the $289,415 prize on Wednesday at Maryland Lottery headquarters, marking the final progressive jackpot for the $10 FAST PLAY Grand Progressive game.

Lottery officials noted the win follows another recent large payout, including an $828,616 progressive jackpot claimed from a FAST PLAY Super 777 ticket purchased days earlier.

FAST PLAY games are printed on demand at lottery terminals and vending machines, offering instant results similar to scratch-off tickets. Certain versions include progressive jackpots that increase with each ticket sold until a winning ticket is issued.

Officials said additional progressive jackpot games remain available, including offerings tied to promotional events and seasonal prizes.
