Maryland State Police seek possible additional victims after man charged in assaults

Investigators say a Cecil County man has been arrested in connection with two reported assaults on women as authorities continue their investigation

CECIL COUNTY, Md. — Maryland State Police are asking the public to come forward with information after arresting a Cecil County man in connection with two reported assaults involving female victims within the last month.

State police announced the arrest Friday but have not yet released additional details about the suspect, the alleged assaults, or the circumstances surrounding the ongoing investigation.

According to Maryland State Police, investigators from the Criminal Enforcement Division are actively working the cases and are seeking information from anyone who may have been victimized or who may have knowledge relevant to the investigations.

Authorities indicated they are attempting to determine whether additional victims may exist.
