Maryland winners flood in as scratch-offs deliver again

Maryland scratch-off players hit it big with six-figure wins in Annapolis, Catonsville, and Linthicum

Baltimore, MD – Three Maryland Lottery players scratched their way to six-figure fortunes last week, with winning tickets worth $150,000 and two $100,000 prizes claimed in Catonsville, Annapolis, and Linthicum.

The largest win came from a More Money ticket sold at Soda Pop Shop, 1026 Ingleside Avenue in Catonsville, which paid out $150,000. Two other major wins came from a $5,000,000 Fortune ticket purchased at 7-Eleven on Taylor Avenue in Annapolis and an Ice ticket sold at Shell on North Camp Meade Road in Linthicum, each awarding $100,000.

According to the Maryland Lottery, a total of 16 tickets across the state delivered prizes of $10,000 or more between January 19 and January 25. Altogether, players across all games claimed more than $29.7 million in winnings during the week.

In addition to the six-figure scratch-off prizes, multiple players also picked up significant wins from draw games and FAST PLAY tickets. Among those were a $50,000 Bonus Match 5 winner in Dundalk, three separate $25,000 Pick 5 tickets in Capitol Heights, Dundalk, and Waldorf, and a $50,000 Powerball win in Denton.

Racetrax players also saw notable wins, including a $46,318.50 ticket sold in Glen Burnie and an $18,852 win in Suitland.

Unclaimed tickets can still be redeemed, but the clock is ticking. Scratch-off winners are reminded to sign the back of their tickets and store them securely. Prizes over $25,000 must be redeemed by appointment at the Lottery’s Customer Resource Center in Baltimore.
