Masked suspect robs DC store at gunpoint and escapes with cash

WASHINGTON, DC — A masked suspect walked into a Northwest D.C. business, pointed a handgun at an employee, and demanded cash before fleeing with money from the register and safe.

The robbery occurred on December 21 at approximately 8:05 p.m. in the 2400 block of Wisconsin Avenue NW. Surveillance cameras captured the suspect, and police have released the footage in hopes of identifying the individual.

Investigators are asking the public to review the video, which can be seen at https://youtu.be/O-_9YE39l50, and provide any relevant tips.

Anyone with information is urged to call (202) 727-9099 or send an anonymous text to 50411. A reward of up to $10,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and conviction.
