Masked suspects flee after Wall Township home invasion and police pursuit

WALL TOWNSHIP, N.J. — Authorities are investigating a home invasion early Monday morning that led to a police pursuit ending on the Garden State Parkway, officials said.

At approximately 4:44 a.m. on January 20, 2025, Wall Township Police responded to a report of a burglary in progress at a residence on Baileys Corner Road. According to police, three masked individuals forcibly entered the home by breaking open a rear window.

The suspects reportedly stole car keys from a counter inside the home but failed to take the vehicle from the property before the homeowner contacted law enforcement. Surveillance footage from the home corroborated the victim’s account of the break-in.

Patrol officers located a blue Nissan Altima with dark tinted windows traveling west on Allaire Road shortly after the suspects fled. The vehicle continued northbound onto the Garden State Parkway after officers attempted a traffic stop, police said. The pursuit was called off due to safety concerns.

The Wall Township Police Detective Bureau is actively investigating the incident and reviewing the footage to identify the suspects. Police believe the individuals may have been in the area before the reported burglary.
