Massive Drug and Weapons Bust in Bellerose Leads to Indictment

QUEENS, NY — District Attorney Melinda Katz has announced the indictment of Victor Rodriguez, 43, following the discovery of a large cache of narcotics and firearms in an abandoned Bellerose home.

The find included heroin, fentanyl, cocaine, and multiple firearms, all with an estimated street value of $10-11 million.

The discovery occurred on May 30 when a contractor, entering the property post-sale, found and reported the contraband.

NYPD’s subsequent investigation led to Rodriguez’s capture, seen removing items from the property on surveillance footage.

Rodriguez faces a 112-count indictment, with charges ranging from drug trafficking to weapon possession. If convicted, he could receive a life sentence. He is due back in court on November 6. The bust represents a significant victory in the ongoing battle against narcotics and gun trafficking in the city.
