Medina lottery player wins $50K in Powerball drawing

MEDINA, OH — A local lottery player is celebrating a $50,000 Powerball win after matching 4-of-5 numbers plus the Powerball in the Saturday drawing.

The lucky ticket was purchased at Johnny Malloy’s, located at 1038 North Court Street in Medina. The winning numbers for the January 18 drawing were 14, 31, 35, 64, 69, and Powerball 23 with a Power Play multiplier of 2.

The odds of winning the $50,000 prize by matching 4-of-5 numbers plus the Powerball are 1 in 913,129.

The Powerball jackpot for Wednesday’s drawing is an estimated $31 million.
