Milford Woman Robbed Seaford Family in the Middle of the Night, Police Say

Seaford, DE – Delaware State Police arrested 34-year-old Sherelle Evans of Milford on burglary and related charges following an incident Sunday.

On November 15, 2020, at approximately 11:03 a.m., Delaware State Police responded to the 22000 block of Bridgeville Highway for a reported burglary. The investigation determined Evans entered the home without the 38-year-old male acquaintance’s permission while he and his four children were sleeping. When the victim woke up in the morning, he discovered personal items missing and property damaged. He suspected Evans committed the burglary, responded to her residence, and located his missing property in her vehicle parked in the driveway. Evans was taken into custody without incident and charged with the following crimes:

  • Burglary 2nd Degree (Felony)
  • Theft Under $1,500
  • Endangering the Welfare of a Child (4 counts)
  • Criminal Mischief

Evans was arraigned in the Justice of the Peace Court #3 and released on a $10,500.00 unsecured bond.
