Millsboro Man Arrested After Pursuit in Stolen Vehicle

Georgetown, DE – Delaware State Police arrested Terence Savage, a 36-year-old resident of Millsboro, for numerous felony charges after a pursuit involving a stolen car near Milton.

On September 30 at approximately 6:45 p.m., members of the Sussex County Governor’s Task Force encountered a gray Chevrolet Camaro, reportedly stolen during a robbery the day before. The vehicle was spotted on Lewes-Georgetown Highway, prompting troopers to conduct a traffic stop on Shinglepoint Road. However, the driver, later identified as Terence Savage, fled, leading police on a high-speed chase through several streets.

The vehicle was eventually found unattended on North Park Avenue after police deployed stop sticks. With assistance from the Milford Police Department’s K-9 unit, law enforcement located and arrested Savage nearby without further incident. A subsequent search revealed a backpack containing a loaded .40 caliber handgun with an obliterated serial number and approximately 3.94 grams of cocaine.

Savage was taken to Troop 4 where he was charged with multiple offenses, including firearm possession during a felony, possession of a firearm by a person convicted of a violent felony,
