Search underway for missing 14-year-old girl last seen in Northwest DC
WASHINGTON, D.C. — A 14-year-old girl has been reported missing after she was last seen in Northwest Washington, prompting police to ask for the public’s help in locating her.
Mariana Nava-Hernandez was last seen around 7:45 a.m. on March 12 in the 1200 block of Massachusetts Avenue NW, according to the Metropolitan Police Department.
She is described as a Hispanic female, about 5 feet 1 inch tall and weighing approximately 110 pounds, with brown hair and dark brown eyes.
Police said she was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, khaki pants and black sneakers.

Authorities are urging anyone who may have seen her or has information about her whereabouts to come forward.
