Monmouth County lottery player has turned a $1 ticket into life-changing winnings

TRENTON, N.J. — A single ticket sold in Monmouth County secured the $685,092 Jersey Cash 5 jackpot in Saturday’s drawing, the New Jersey Lottery announced Monday.

The winning numbers for the Nov. 16 drawing were 21, 35, 36, 44, and 45, with an XTRA number of 03. The Bullseye number was also 45, and the ticket matched all five numbers to claim the jackpot prize.

The winning ticket was purchased at Minimart Plus, located at 2005 State Route 35 North in Oakhurst. As the retailer of the lucky ticket, Minimart Plus will receive a $2,000 bonus check.

The jackpot, which had previously rolled over, will reset to approximately $177,000 for Monday night’s drawing.

The New Jersey Lottery urges all players to check their tickets and claim prizes promptly.
