Montgomery County Stores Sell Two $100K Powerball Tickets

GAITHERSBURG, MD — The excitement from last Saturday’s $1.326 billion Powerball jackpot win in Oregon continues, with Maryland boasting its own winners in the latest drawing on April 10. Two tickets, each worth $100,000, were sold in Montgomery County, while another ticket won $50,000 in Baltimore.

The $100,000 tickets were purchased in Gaithersburg at Giant #196, located at 20044 Goshen Road, and in Montgomery Village at Goshen Plaza Beer & Wine, 9140 Rothbury Drive. Additionally, a $50,000-winning ticket was sold at Royal Farms #063 on 4820 O’Donnell Street in Baltimore.

Winning numbers for this draw were 6, 7, 12, 24, and 36 with a Powerball of 15. The Power Play multiplier was set at x2, doubling the third-tier prize amount for the Montgomery County winners to $100,000.
