LAKEWOOD, NJ – A mother and daughter were struck by a car while crossing Route 9 in the area of Chestnut Street Friday night in Lakewood.
Lakewood Police and EMS responded to the scene. The victims were taken to Jersey Shore Medical Center by Hatzolah and Lakewood EMS.
They were admitted to the hospital for treatment of serious injuries. Their condition is unknown at this time. Police have not announced any citations in the incident.
