FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA — A motorcyclist was rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries Thursday night after being struck by a dark-colored SUV that fled the scene along Leesburg Pike in the Seven Corners area, police said.

The crash happened at the intersection of Leesburg Pike and Patrick Henry Drive. Fairfax County Police responded to the hit-and-run around 10:30 p.m. and found the injured rider at the scene. Authorities believe the SUV involved did not stop and continued driving away from the crash site.

The identity of the motorcyclist has not been released, and officials have not confirmed the exact make or model of the suspect vehicle. The investigation remains active, and officers are working to obtain surveillance footage and witness statements from the area.
