Motorcyclist killed in crash on Walker Mill Road

CAPITOL HEIGHTS, Md. — Prince George’s County Police are investigating a fatal crash that claimed the life of a motorcyclist Saturday evening. The victim has been identified as 50-year-old Anthony Williams of Capitol Heights, police said Monday.

The collision occurred on October 5 at approximately 5:55 p.m. in the 7400 block of Walker Mill Road. According to a preliminary investigation, Williams was riding eastbound when he collided with another vehicle in the same direction.

Williams was transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival. The driver of the other vehicle, who remained at the scene, was not injured.

Authorities are continuing to investigate the cause of the crash. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Prince George’s County Police Department’s Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit.
