Mount Vernon Store Sells Winning $17K TAKE 5 Lottery Ticket

MOUNT VERNON, NY – The New York Lottery confirmed today that a top-prize ticket from the TAKE 5 midday drawing on May 19 was sold in Mount Vernon.

A-Mart, located at 140 W Sandford Blvd, was the site where the winning ticket was purchased, with the prize amount totaling $17,666.

The TAKE 5 lottery involves selecting numbers from a set range of 1 to 39, with drawings broadcast twice daily at 2:30 PM and 10:30 PM. Winners can claim their prizes within one year from the date of the drawing.

The New York Lottery, recognized as the largest and most profitable in North America, generated $3.7 billion during the 2022-2023 fiscal year to support educational initiatives across New York State.
