Murder charge filed in suspicious death investigation in Pembroke Pines

PEMBROKE PINES, FL – A death investigation in Pembroke Pines has been elevated to a murder investigation.

As detectives actively worked our ongoing death investigation, probable cause was developed to arrest Ms. Michelle Gibb in connection to this case. It was determined that this is an isolated incident, and the police department concluded there are no additional threats to the community.

Ms. Michelle Gibb was arrested by Pembroke Pines Police Detectives, transported to the Broward County Jail, and is facing the charge of 1st Degree Murder.

The victim’s identity is not being released, pending notification of next of kin. The Pembroke Pines Police Department will provide additional information as updates become available.
