November 26, 2024

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. — Authorities are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a shooting on the 1300 block of Ragin Street early on the morning of November 25.

Detective Holmes, the lead investigator on the case, said multiple shots were fired during the incident, and the individual pictured in released photos is believed to have come from outside the jurisdiction. Police are urging anyone with information to come forward to help identify those involved.

“We must work together to stop the violent acts that occur in our community,” the Myrtle Beach Police Department stated, adding that they are working closely with 15th Circuit judicial partners to address this and similar incidents of violence.

In response, the department has increased police presence in local neighborhoods to deter further incidents and provide support to the community. Investigators are also utilizing advanced technology and data analysis to track and identify suspects.

Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Detective Holmes at 843-918-1382. Anonymous tips are welcome.
