National Night Out Coming to Manchester

Manchester Police Announce National Night Out Event

MANCHESTER, NJ — In collaboration with the NSA Lakehurst and the Ocean County Sheriff’s Department, the Lakehurst Police Department and the Manchester Township Police Department are hosting their 3rd annual National Night Out event.

This community event, set for residents of Lakehurst and Manchester, offers a chance for police to engage with the communities they serve. It will be held at Manchester High School from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

National Night Out will feature a variety of activities including food trucks, free drinks, prizes, giveaways, live music, games, a petting zoo, hatchet throwing, and a K9 demonstration.

The organizers are seeking vendors, donations, and presenters. Interested parties can contact Det. Madelyn Poss at mposs@lakehurstpolice.org to inquire or sign up.

Admission is free, and all community members are invited to enjoy a night focused on crime prevention and community building.
