Butterflies signify hope and we want this event to be a day of hope, healing, and new beginnings for all victims of crime and survivors. Presenters will include United States Attorney for the Middle District of North Carolina Sandra J. Hairston, Deputy Chief Renae G. Sigmon of the Greensboro Police Department, and Caroline Holliday of the Greensboro Police Department who will share words of remembrance about fallen Sergeant Philip Dale Nix of the Greensboro Police Department Family Victims Unit who was killed trying to stop a crime in progress while off duty December 30, 2023.
