New Hampshire Man Sentenced to 20 Years for Child Exploitation Offenses

NEWARK, N.J. – Scott Wilkinson, 39, from Concord, New Hampshire, was sentenced to 240 months in prison for child exploitation and possession of child sexual abuse material.

The sentencing was handed down by U.S. District Court Judge Joseph Laplante in New Hampshire.

Documents and court statements reveal that Wilkinson engaged in sexual acts with a 12-year-old child in New Jersey after corresponding online for about a year.

He traveled to New Jersey in April 2022 to meet the child. Evidence from his cell phone included a video of the sexual acts and other child sexual abuse materials.

Wilkinson had previously pleaded guilty to production of child [censored]ography and possession of child sexual abuse material. In addition to prison, he will undergo 10 years of supervised release.
