New Jersey Police Support “Tim Tebow’s Night to Shine” Event for Special Needs Community

Parsippany, NJ – The New Jersey State Police, along with Public Safety Telecommunicators (PST), participated in the “Night to Shine” event on Thursday, February 8, and Friday, February 9, an initiative by the Tim Tebow Foundation. This complimentary event, dedicated to people with special needs, was hosted by Liquid Church in Parsippany, Morris County, and saw approximately 700 guests over the two days.

Troopers, PSTs, and members of the Parsippany Police and Fire Departments, among other volunteers, lined the red carpet to cheer on the attendees as they arrived. Guests were greeted with applause and some had the privilege of being escorted down the red carpet by first responders, making for a memorable entrance.

“Night to Shine” provided a unique Prom-like experience for many of New Jersey’s vulnerable citizens, allowing them to enjoy a night of celebration and recognition in a supportive environment. The event underscored the community’s commitment to inclusivity and recognition of individuals with special needs, ensuring they had a special night to remember.
