New office building to be built on Bennetts Mills Road in Jackson

JACKSON, NJ – A new office building has been approved for construction on the northwest corner of the intersection of Bennetts Mills Road and Cooksbridge Road in Jackson. The site is across from a dollar store, the Meridian medical building and a strip mall.

680 Bennetts Mills Road, LLC was approved by a one-vote margin during a December 5th meeting of the Jackson Township Planning Board.

The application was not without contention as the board was split in its decision.

Jackson Councilman Marty Flemming voted yes for the application along with Tzvi Herman, Mordechai Burnstein, Jeff Riker, and Campbell. Voting no was business administrator Terrance Wall, Steven Demarzo, John Hudak, and Anthony Canderozzi.

The building will be occupied by a professional staffing business for employees only and will have no customer traffic, the applicant told the board.

The 75,000-square-foot building will sit on 7 acres and is zoned neighborhood commercial.
