New York City Detectives Continue Search for Man Who Accosted Young Girl Inside Manhattan Subway Station

Police are searching for a man who allegedly kissed a 16-year-old girl without her consent near the Dyckman Street subway station in Upper Manhattan, authorities said.

The incident occurred on Wednesday, May 21, at approximately 4:40 p.m., according to police. The victim reported that an unidentified man approached her on the subway platform before following her to the street level near Fort George Hill and Hillside Avenue.

There, the man allegedly kissed the teen without her permission and then fled the scene on foot. No injuries were reported.

Suspect fled on foot after incident

The suspect is described as a male with a medium complexion, approximately 18 to 24 years old. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, black pants, and a black skullcap.

The NYPD has not released surveillance images and no arrests have been made. The investigation is ongoing.
