New York City police searching for suspect after antisemitic threats at Fulton Street subway station

BROOKLYN, NY — Police are searching for a man who allegedly made antisemitic threats during a verbal dispute with another rider at the Fulton Street “J” train subway station on Monday afternoon.

The incident occurred around 2:20 p.m. when a 31-year-old man was approached by an unidentified individual on the platform. According to the NYPD, the individual made antisemitic remarks and threatened the victim using his dog before fleeing the scene.

The suspect boarded a southbound “J” train and left the location. No physical injuries were reported as a result of the confrontation.

The suspect is described as a male with a medium complexion, wearing sunglasses and a cowboy hat. He was last seen in a dark-colored T-shirt layered over a white long-sleeve shirt, with blue jeans, white sneakers, and a black gym bag.

The NYPD Hate Crime Task Force is leading the investigation into the incident.
