New York City Rideshare Driver Shot in Face by Back Seat Passenger

BROOKLYN, NY — A 52-year-old man is in critical condition following a shooting incident that occurred on the evening of Thursday, June 20. The incident took place at approximately 10:00 PM in front of 320 Lincoln Place, where the victim was seated in the driver’s seat of a black Mercedes Benz.

According to police reports, two unknown individuals were in the back of the vehicle when one of them produced a firearm and shot the victim in the face. After the shooting, both suspects fled the scene on foot in an unspecified direction.

The first suspect is described as a male with a dark complexion, aged between 18 and 25, last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants, and black sneakers. The second suspect is similarly aged and complexioned, last seen wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, gray pants, and black sneakers.

The victim was promptly transported by EMS to New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, where he remains in critical condition. The police are actively seeking information from the public to help identify and locate the suspects involved in this grave incident.
