NEWARK, NJ – Deidre Moses, a 28-year-old from Las Vegas, formerly of Bloomfield, has been arrested in connection with an August 2023 shooting.

The incident occurred on Thursday, August 24, 2023, around 1:30 a.m. on the 40s block of North 4th Street.

Newark Police responded to a shooting call and found a man inside a residence suffering from gunshot wounds after suspects fired at the home. The shooting followed an altercation outside, involving vandalism to a vehicle.

The victim, transported to University Hospital, is in stable condition. Moses, identified as a suspect through the investigation, faces charges including aggravated assault and unlawful possession of a weapon.

She was apprehended on December 14, 2023, in Las Vegas and now awaits legal proceedings.
