NEWARK, NJ – Newark authorities are asking for the public’s help identifying several suspects wanted in connection with a November shooting that left one man injured in the Bradley Court housing complex.

Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda Sr. said officers responded to reports of gunfire around 7:50 p.m. on November 27 in the area of North Munn Avenue between South Orange and Tremont Avenues. When officers arrived, they found a male victim suffering from a gunshot wound to his leg. Investigators recovered 18 spent 9mm shell casings at the scene.

According to police, surveillance video captured four suspects firing multiple rounds from a white Honda Accord before fleeing the area. The vehicle was later located in Perth Amboy on December 21. Detectives are continuing to work to identify those involved.

Anyone with information about the suspects is urged to contact the Newark Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477). Tips may be submitted anonymously and could qualify for a cash reward.
