NEWBURGH, NY — A Powerball player is $50,000 richer after purchasing a winning ticket at a Newburgh smoke shop for the July 25 drawing.
According to the New York Lottery, the third-prize-winning ticket was sold at Smokes 4 Less, located at 59 North Plank Road in Newburgh.
The ticket matched enough numbers to win the game’s $50,000 third prize.
Powerball drawings are held every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 p.m.
Lottery officials have not announced whether the prize has been claimed.
