New Jersey Lottery unwraps new games and giveaways for December

TRENTON, NJ — Just in time for the holiday season, the New Jersey Lottery is rolling out two new Scratch-Off games, two new Fast Play Progressive games, and a series of online sweepstakes to cap off the year with prizes and new ways to win.

The December launch includes Win for Life!, a $5 Scratch-Off offering three top prizes of $3 million, payable either in 25 annual installments or as a one-time lump sum of $1,769,800. Joining it is Loteria, a $3 Scratch-Off game featuring four top prizes of $30,000.

The Fast Play Progressive lineup will see the addition of Winter Winnings, a $10 game that awards 100% of the progressive jackpot, and Merry Money, a $5 ticket paying out 50% of the progressive prize pool.

Alongside the game launches, the Lottery will host multiple sweepstakes throughout December on both Facebook and Instagram. Prizes include Scratch-Off ticket bundles ranging from $50 to $300. These events will run on selected weekdays and feature English and Spanish-language promotions.

The first Facebook sweepstakes kicked off on Monday, with participants entering by responding to a prompt for a chance to win $50 worth of Scratch-Offs. The next Spanish-language promotion is scheduled for Wednesday, December 17, followed by a livestream sweepstakes on December 22 with variable Scratch-Off prizes up to $300.

On Instagram, two $50 ticket sweepstakes are planned for December 8 and 15. Five winners will be randomly selected and verified for each social media event.

Since its launch in 1970, the New Jersey Lottery has generated more than $34.7 billion for the state, with proceeds currently supporting public employee pensions under a multi-decade funding agreement.
