TRENTON, NJ – Craig Reynolds, a South Jersey veteran who has faced severe health challenges, including a battle with cancer and a stroke, has won a $100,000 jackpot in the Jersey Cash 5 lottery. Reynolds, who has made a habit of periodically checking his lottery tickets, found the winning ticket in a stack that had accumulated over a month in his car’s center console. His initial disbelief at winning was shared by his wife and son, requiring multiple scans to confirm the jackpot victory.

After overcoming his health issues, with cancer now in remission and mobility restored, Reynolds is enjoying a significantly better year. He regularly shares his experiences with other veterans, offering support and inspiration.

The winning ticket for the April 7 drawing was purchased at Quick Mart on Whitehorse Pike in Clementon, Camden County, with the numbers 8, 13, 18, 27, and 42.
