New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy is under fire and being ridiculed in a new political cartoon commissioned by the Sussex County Republican Committee. The cartoon shows the governor dragging a boy from his family and indoctrinating him into changing his gender identity.
While that’s not exactly what is happening, it’s not very far from the truth that Murphy’s laws are preventing parents from knowing what happens to their children in public schools when it comes to the issue at hand.
The Sussex County Republican Committee is launching a campaign featuring original artwork that criticizes Governor Phil Murphy’s educational mandates. The art aims to depict the challenges faced by parents of public school children in New Jersey under the current policies.
Sussex County Republican Chairman Joe Labarbera announced that the satirical artwork would be featured in public advertisements across more than 50 locations in northwest New Jersey. The campaign is scheduled to run throughout the election period.
“Our children and our families aren’t experimental subjects. Their lives are sacred. Their lives are their own,” Labarbera stated during the announcement. He went on to express that the Governor’s policies represent “extreme beliefs” that should not be imposed on families or children.
The campaign comes amid growing opposition to Governor Murphy’s educational policies, particularly those focusing on gender identity and parental involvement in educational matters. Labarbera argues that these policies are disruptive to families and detrimental to children, signaling a broader sentiment shared by those opposing the current mandates.
