No injuries after bullets hit multiple residences in Frederick

FREDERICK, MD — Frederick Police are investigating a Tuesday night shooting that left multiple homes struck by gunfire in a residential area near W South Street and Burck Street.

Officers responded around 9:30 p.m. on July 8 after receiving reports of gunshots in the area. Upon arrival, they found evidence that several rounds had been fired along Burck Street between Madison Street and W South Street. No injuries were reported.

Investigators believe the incident may be connected to a previous shots-fired case reported on June 23 in the area of Walker Alley and Lord Nickens Street. Police have not released any information about suspects or motives.
