NORTH PLAINFIELD, NJ – The North Plainfield Police Department is currently investigating an assault stemming from a road rage confrontation. The incident occurred on March 3, at around 4:25 PM, at the intersection of Somerset Street and the Route 22 Overpass. According to reports, the driver of a pickup truck was assaulted by motorcyclists who subsequently fled the scene before the arrival of law enforcement.
