NEW YORK, NY – The New York City Police Department is appealing to the public for assistance in identifying 26-year-old Justin Bido, who is wanted in connection with an attempted rape.

The incident occurred on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, at around 7:00 AM, within the 20th Precinct.

The assault attempt took place after a 15-year-old female was approached by Bido near a smoke shop located near West 63rd Street and 11th Avenue. The encounter escalated when the suspect followed the victim into a residence and attempted to assault her. Fortunately, the victim did not require medical attention following the incident.

The NYPD has released a photo of Justin Bido and is urging anyone with information regarding his whereabouts or additional details about the incident to contact the authorities. Public cooperation is crucial in ensuring the safety of the community and in helping to apprehend the suspect.
