NYPD Investigating Subway Groping at Bedford Avenue Station

New York, NY — The New York City Police Department is investigating a groping incident that occurred on Monday, August 12, 2024, near the Bedford Avenue train station. At approximately 1:40 PM, a 25-year-old female victim was exiting the station when an unknown individual approached her from behind and grabbed her buttocks.

The suspect fled the scene on foot, and no injuries were reported.

The individual sought in connection with this incident is described as a male with a medium build and complexion, approximately 25 years old, and around 5 feet 8 inches tall. He was last seen wearing a tan long sleeve shirt, black Adidas sweatpants, and carrying a black backpack.
