NEW YORK, NY — The New York City Police Department is seeking help from the public to identify a man connected to a rape incident in Queens. According to police reports, the assault occurred on Sunday at around 10:45 PM in a commercial building near Main Street and 40th Road in Queens.
An unidentified male reportedly attacked a 53-year-old woman, punching her multiple times in the head and face before raping her. The suspect then escaped on foot. The victim was later admitted to a nearby hospital and is currently in stable condition.
Authorities have released media depicting the suspect and are urging anyone with information to come forward to assist in the investigation. The NYPD emphasizes the importance of community assistance in apprehending the individual responsible for this violent crime.
