NYPD seeks help identifying vehicle in Douglaston Parkway shooting

NEW YORK — The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a vehicle connected to a non-fatal shooting that left two men injured in Queens earlier this month.

The incident occurred on Saturday, October 5, 2024, at approximately 11 p.m. near the northeast corner of the Long Island Expressway and Douglaston Parkway. According to police, two unidentified individuals in the vehicle in question fired 20 rounds at another vehicle, injuring two men.

A 56-year-old male victim suffered a graze wound to his stomach, while a 43-year-old male was shot in the right arm and lost vision in his left eye. EMS responded to the scene and transported both victims to North Shore Manhasset Hospital, where they were listed in stable condition.

The suspects fled the scene in the vehicle shown in the attached media. Police are urging anyone with information about the vehicle or the individuals involved to come forward.

The investigation is ongoing, and no arrests have been made.
